We had long weekend holiday Last week. The Singapore national day fell on the ninth of August and coincidentally the day before was the muslim holiday. We have traveled to north Malaysia numerous time and always passed by Malacca but never visited. That was why I planned to go to Malacca with my family during this holiday.

Malacca is about 3 to 5 hours drive from Singapore depending on the traffic. Upon entering the city we were trapped in very heavy traffic jam. It took us about two hours to reach the city. It was a very disappointed trip that left us all wanted to go back immediately. Places are filled with people and cars. There was no way to go anywhere and no way to turn back either. Since it was already after two in the afternoon, we decided to just go to nyonya baba heritage site to grab something to eat before we headed home. To my horror, we found out that we had to stand in line for over 30 minutes under the hot sun just to buy food. It was really very unpleasant trip that I hope we would not experience it again. Below are some of the pictures I took while queueing. Have a nice weekend.
