Full moon in Toronto tonight with some droplets of rain (actually, I envisioned it to be snowing there but I guess it is too early to snow). This is for my new friend who requested the full moon version of my painting.  It’s not very good but I hope it did capture a bit of the Chinese essence in it. It also reminds me of an old Chinese poem called “(Quiet) Night Thoughts” by Li Bai where he talked of the bright moon light outside his bedroom window, suspected frost on the ground  and  of his homesickness.
