This is another installment of the moon series I did yesterday.  Unlike yesterday’s painting, the sunset and cranes are the main subjects in this painting.  In fact the moon is barely noticeable here.   Every year when the moon is at its fullest and brightest, we would celebrate Autumn festival or moon festival as many called it.  There are so many stories about the legend of moon festival in the internet.  I particularly like the one told by a historian named Thomas W.
